Arrival Time: 11:00 AM
Departure Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Penrose Suites - 725 Queen St E, St. Marys, ON N4X 1G2
Over the course of our time together, you'll take part in guided group discussions with Alexandra on six key business topics, along with dedicated time for personal reflection and planning -
Building Strong Business Systems - CRM tools and automation (i.e., HoneyBook, EveryStem), managing inquiries, proposals, and contracts, and scaling sustainably
Website and SEO Strategy for Florists - optimizing your website for search engines, blogging and content marketing for visibility, crafting a portfolio that attracts ideal clients, and the impact of branding and user experience
Marketing and Networking for Growth - social media strategy, building relationships with vendors and venues, PR strategies (getting featured in blogs and magazines), and leveraging styled shoots and collaborations
Client Experience and Sales Strategy - creating a seamless client journey, setting boundaries and managing expectations, pricing psychology and selling with confidence, and handling difficult clients and objections
Vision, Strategy and Long-Term Growth - defining your niche and brand differentiation, setting financial and creative goals, diversifying income streams (education, rentals, products), and voiding burnout and maintaining work-life balance
Financial Planning and Profitability - understanding profit margins & pricing for sustainability, budgeting for growth and managing seasonal cash flow, smart investments: where to spend vs. where to save, and racking expenses and financial goal-setting
This retreat is designed to help you gain clarity, confidence, and direction—so you can take your floral business to the next level. Discussions are not strictly lecture style, but rather open for participation and contribution too!
Accommodations: Each attendee will be provided accommodation in a shared suite, each with it’s own private bedroom with King bed. There will be maximum 2 persons per suite. Suite details and features can be found directly on the Penrose Suites’ website. If the shared suites sell out, I may be able to add on additional private King rooms, but this will only occur once the shared suites are sold out.
What’s Included: Instruction and discussion led by Alexandra of Forever Wildfield. Two nights accommodations at The Penrose Suites. Breakfast (x1), Lunch (x2), Dinner (x2), snacks, and refreshments. Open Q+A throughout the workshop. The discussions will be about 10 hours total, with the remainder of the time being dedicated working time, meals, and activities. A full itinerary is provided to attendees just prior to the workshop dates. All transportation to and from the workshop is not included. There is no floral design element to this workshop. Attendees are encouraged to come to the retreat prepared to work and take action in their floral business.
